What you will learn:

Learn and understand how Batik is made and the processes behind it. Batik waxed by hand with a chanting is known as "Batik Tulis". This is the original, or traditional, way of creating batik. The tool used to apply wax in fine lines is called a "chanting". A chanting/canting tools consists of two parts, the handle which is made from Bamboo and the front spout which is made of copper. 

Workshop Process

  • Guided session with our instructor.
  • Choose from several drawings provided.
  • You will learn how authentic batik is made, from drawing with the chanting, up to colouring of your art piece.
  • All materials will be provided.

Timing

  1. Let us know your preferred timing and we will schedule you in accordingly
  2. Slot subjected to availability.
  3. Advance booking recommended at least 2 weeks in advance
  4. We take in minimum 2 pax 
  5. We take in 50% deposit to reserve the spot.
  6. Strictly no refund for payment made.
